Where am I ?

Using the “Where am I ?” button, identify at a glance your position and the points of interest that catch your fancy nearby:

• Automatic display of the area where the user is located.
• A list of nearby points of interest, divided into 6 categories: monuments, bars, restaurants, hotels, local shops and places to go, which can be viewed either together or separately.
• Comprehensive commentary which not only helps the user choose where to go, but also to find important practical information: address, telephone, opening hours, email and website.

Parisian areas

With the “Areas” option, discover 10 areas specially mapped out for tourists.

• An area can be selected on the interactive map or from a list.
• A historical and cultural introduction is provided for each area, from a novel angle: calling to mind the 1937 Universal Exhibition at Trocadero for example, the eve of the French Revolution in Faubourg Saint Antoine, or Marcel Carné’s film, Les Enfants du Paradis, on Boulevard du Temple.
• Pick and choose to make your own list of points of interest in the area.
